CSC and team help Army improve air traffic control

Task order calls for systems and software engineering

Computer Sciences Corp. will help the Army upgrade its air traffic control under a five-year task order worth an estimated $30 million.

Under the terms of the award, CSC will provide technical support for current and future air traffic control systems. Services include systems and software engineering, product assurance, and Army airspace command and control.

Teaming with CSC are Dynamic Research Corp., of Andover, Mass., and Navigator Development Group Inc., of Enterprise, Ala.

The task order was awarded under the Army Aviation and Missile Command Express contract vehicle, won by CSC in 2004.

CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 11 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
