ICF enlisted in CDC fight for HIV prevention

ICF International Inc. will provide technology assistance to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as it tries to reduce HIV transmission under a four-year, $25.9 million task order.

The task order calls for ICF International to support the Health and Human Services Department’s CDC Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention in its efforts to reduce HIV transmission, identify those living with HIV, and link them with appropriate care, according to an ICF announcement dated July 7.

The four areas of support include improving data systems processes, providing technical assistance, enhancing information dissemination and implementing quality assurance procedures.

The new task order stems from the DHS multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to support the CDC Information Management Services, the announcement states.

ICF International Inc., of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 64 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
