TASC lures veteran business development exec

TASC Inc. has hired Dale Luddeke as its chief growth officer, luring him away from CACI International Inc., where he was executive vice president for corporate business development.

In an announcement to TASC employees, company CEO David Langstaff said Luddeke would be a member of the senior management team reporting directly to Langstaff.

Luddeke will be responsible for business development functions, including corporate business development, price-to-win, competitive intelligence, account management, corporate priority wins, capture and proposals.

Additional responsibilities include development of line managers’ business development and capture skills. He also will be involved in merger and acquisition strategies, and research and development investments.

Luddeke also was recently elected executive vice chair by the Industry Advisory Council. He will become chairman of the IAC executive committee on July 1, 2012.

Before working at CACI, Luddeke was with Computer Sciences Corp. for 10 years in both line and business development roles. Other stops in his career include Unisys, Technology Applications Inc., Brett Berlin Associates and Technology Development Corp. He started his career as a systems engineer with McDonnell Douglas Corp.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology and a master’s degree in engineering and technology management, both from Oklahoma State University.
