BAE Systems wins $93.2M flight training pact

Company will support Australian military with flight screening and basic flight training through 2017.

BAE Systems will help train Australian pilots under a $93.2 million contract the company won with the Australian Defence Force, according to a Defense News report

Under the six-year contract, BAE will provide initial flight screening and basic flight training on an interim basis until Australia’s Project AIR 5428 begins in 2017.

BAE has been supporting the Australian basic flying school since 1999.
