CSC names new VP of health services

Alisoun Moore previously was director of health systems management at Northrop Grumman

Computer Sciences Corp. has hired Alisoun Moore as vice president and general manager of its North American Public Sector’s Health Services Division.

Moore will report to Mike Gaffney, president of CSC’s NPS Civil Group. She will be responsible for driving business in the government health IT market and identifying opportunities in government health services.

Moore previously served as director of health systems management for Northrop Grumman Corp.’s health IT programs.

Before joining Northrop Grumman, Moore held a number of CIO roles in state and local governments, including Maryland.

She also served as the health IT lead for the National Organization of Counties and for Public Technology Inc.

Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and biology from the State University of New York at Albany, a master’s in public administration with an IT concentration from the University of Baltimore and a master’s of business administration from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in health care management.

CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 10 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
