ICF maintains USAID energy efficiency program
Award continues collaboration on Energy Efficiency for Clean Development Program

ICF International Inc. will continue to support the global energy program of the U.S. Agency for International Development under a five-year grant contract that has a maximum value of $10 million.
Under terms of the contract, ICF will work with USAID’s Energy Efficiency for Clean Development Program to address energy performance improvement and greenhouse gas mitigation at USAID missions worldwide, according to an ICF announcement released today.
The Energy Efficiency for Clean Development Program leverages ICF’s global presence in Brazil, Russia, India and China, and the company’s history of providing energy efficiency support to key U.S. agencies – including USAID, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Energy and State departments, and a number of foreign agencies.
“In China and India, for example, ICF recently has trained more than 5,000 commercial building operators in low-cost energy efficiency techniques in 10 major cities, engaged large commercial building portfolios in energy performance improvement, and developed approaches to energy performance benchmarking and rating systems,” ICF Vice President David Hathaway said in the announcement.
ICF International Inc., of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 66 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
