General Dynamics provides help desk support for DIA

Contractor will consolidate seven regional help desks into two

General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a five-year, $40 million task order under the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise contract to support the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Under this SITE contract, General Dynamics IT will consolidate seven regional help desks into two enterprise service desks in the Washington, D.C., area and Colorado Springs, Colo. The company also will provide 24-hour supervision for the DIA’s Directorate for Information Management’s enterprise service desk.

Support also includes managing a customer call center and mission essential services to ensure calls are routed, tracked and responded to appropriately and in a timely manner.

General Dynamics Corp., of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 6 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
