Vangent subcontract calls for expansion of Army learning programs

Pragmatics Inc. award will support Army’s Classroom XXI Enterprise Classroom Program

Vangent Inc. has been awarded a $95 million subcontract from Pragmatics Inc. to support the Army’s Classroom XXI Enterprise Classroom Program.

Under the terms of the award, the Vangent Human Capital Division will direct the design, installation and integration of a sophisticated learning technology infrastructure that will include standardization, interoperability and scalability of classrooms throughout the more than 1,400 Army Training and Doctrine Command’s classrooms and associated schools and centers.

Vangent will perform the work for the United States Army Combined Arms Center, Army Training Support Center, Enterprise Classroom Programs and Battle Command Art and Sciences Program at Fort Eustis, Va.

Vangent’s Human Capital division provides a broad range of workforce assessment, development and management services to the public and private sectors both in the U.S. and international markets.

Vangent Inc., of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 57 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
