CSC gains $100M award to test the water for EPA
Contract continues seven-year association to ensure nation's water resources are protected

Computer Sciences Corp. will continue to provide support services to the Environmental Protection Agency under a five-year contract that has an estimated total value of $100 million.
The award calls for CSC to continue providing comprehensive mission support services for the Water Security Division within EPA’s Office of Water, a CSC statement said today .
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will continue to provide the Water Security Division with comprehensive scientific, engineering, emergency management, risk assessment, training and regulation development support.
This work supports WSD’s mission, which is to secure the nation’s water infrastructure, including addressing the climate change risks to drinking water and wastewater infrastructure, CSC said.
CSC has worked with the EPA’s Water Security Division for seven years to ensure the nation’s water resources are protected from all threats, both intentional attacks and natural hazards, said James Sheaffer, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector.
CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 10 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
