QinetiQ North America names new corporate CFO

Bill Goss also promoted to executive VP

QinetiQ North America has named Bill Goss executive vice president and chief financial officer, with responsibility for finance and accounting, treasury, and risk management.

Goss has served as CFO of QinetiQ North America's Systems Engineering Group since October 2006, having had responsibility for the group's accounting, finance, contracts, facilities and IT activities, according to a QinetiQ NA announcement released today.

Before joining QinetiQ North America, Goss was the senior vice president and chief financial officer of the IT Services and Outsourcing Group of Affiliated Computer Services, a Fortune 500 company.

He previously served as the chief financial officer of the Hardware Product Group, an aerospace and defense services division of Honeywell International.

Goss joined Honeywell as a result of its acquisition of TriStar Aerospace, where he had been vice president of finance, assisting TriStar in going public through an initial public offering.

Goss, a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, is a certified public accountant.

QinetiQ North America Inc., of McLean, Va., ranks No. 40 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
