ManTech award boosts IT services to NDIC

Contractor will provide program support to anti-drug center

ManTech International Corp. will provide program support services to the National Drug Intelligence Center under a three-year award worth $32 million.

Under the Strategic Services Sourcing prime contract task order, ManTech will provide full life-cycle software and system support for NDIC’s information technology architecture, according to a company announcement released today.

The contractor also will support the collection, organization, analysis, production and dissemination of strategic intelligence products, and provide document and media exploitation services in support of law enforcement agency investigative activities.

In addition, ManTech will provide training support to employees of NDIC and other agencies within the counter-narcotics community.

ManTech’s work will take place at NDIC headquarters in Johnstown, Pa., and at Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Strike Force locations throughout the country.

The NDIC, an independent organization of the Justice Department, coordinates and consolidates drug intelligence from all national security and law enforcement agencies, and produces information regarding the structure, membership, finances, communications and activities of drug trafficking organizations.

ManTech International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 31 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
