Ace Info wins $145M Coast Guard IT contract

Award designates assistance for Coast Guard Operations Systems Center

Ace Info Solutions Inc., a small-business Homeland Security Department contractor, will provide the Coast Guard with a range of information technology services, thanks to a five-year, $145 million Core Technologies Services contract from the Coast Guard Operations Systems Center in Kearneysville, W.Va.

It’s one of the largest DHS awards to a small business to date, according to the announcement from Ace Info.

Under this single-award contract, Ace Info will address requirements and technical capabilities necessary to support, maintain and enhance Coast Guard hardware, infrastructure and network capabilities.

The government contractor based in Reston, Va., will focus on the delivery of mission-critical IT services, a service-oriented architecture, and infrastructure capabilities and components to support computer, data communications and network equipment, the announcement said.

The Core Technologies Services award is Ace Info’s latest DHS contract win. The firm has been awarded three contracts by the Transportation Security Administration and two by Customs and Border Protection.

The Ace Info team includes Dell Corp., Stanley Associates and IT Coalition.

Ace Info Solutions was founded in 2001 by Jay Challa.
