CSC tasked with systems programming work at Navy center

Computer Sciences Corp. will provide systems programming and engineering services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division, Va.,under a two-year task order that has an estimated total value of $42 million.

Computer Sciences Corp. will provide systems programming and engineering services to the Navy under a two-year task order that has an estimated total value of $42 million.

The order, awarded under CSC’s 2004 Naval Sea Systems Command SEAPORT-Enhanced contract vehicle, calls for supplying system software maintenance and integration, and engineering services for Navy units and commands at the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dahlgren Division, Va.

In addition, the company will support testing and perform engineering studies to provide data analysis and reports.

CSC has been supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center for 30 years, Austin Yerks, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Defense Group, said in a statement.

CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 10 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
