ManTech will secure DISA division’s move to Maryland

ManTech International Corp. will help the Defense Department as DOD opens support facilities at Fort Meade, Md., under a five-year contract worth $23 million.
The award, which has an initial one-year base and four one-year renewal options, calls for the company to support the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Manpower, Personnel and Security Division's move from its present location in Arlington, Va., to the new facilities as a result the Base Closure and Realignment process.
Specifically, the company will provide full-scope, integrated security services to support DISA’s security operations.
The agency’s Security Division provides security policy, guidance and oversight to DISA activities worldwide, using a multi-discipline and risk management approach, according to the contractor’s announcement today.
The division also provides traditional security assistance in information, personnel, physical and special security reviews/assessments in support of the DISA’s certification and accreditation process.
ManTech International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 31 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal contractors.
