Raytheon names VP for intell and IS business
David Jensen will lead internal and external communication programs

Raytheon Co. has named David Jensen vice president of communications for its Intelligence and Information Systems business unit, according to a company announcement today.
Jensen’s prime responsibility will be to lead internal and external communication programs in support of the IIS unit’s growth strategy, the announcement said.
He previously worked at General Electric Co., where he was senior vice president of marketing and communications for GE Capital International Services. He was responsible for global marketing, corporate communications, investor relations and internal communications.
Jensen has more than 20 years of corporate communications and public affairs experience with such major brands as GE, the Boeing Co. and Honeywell Corp., according to Lynn Dugle, president of Raytheon’s IIS business.
Before joining GE, Jensen was senior vice president of Ketchum, a global public relations agency.
Jensen will work at Raytheon’s office in Falls Church, Va.
Raytheon, of Waltham, Mass., ranks No. 5 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
