Harris supplies software tech services to Air Force

Harris Corp. will provide software technical assistance to the Air Force under a one-year, $7 million information technology services task order.

Under the award, Harris and its team will provide on-site technical services for new and existing software development as part of the Headquarters Air Force Information Management Enterprise (HAF-IME) Business Solutions Software Development Services Support program.

The work will encompass business process engineering, enterprise architecture, requirements management, graphical user interface design, technical writing, software engineering, software test management and systems administration, according to a Harris announcement.

HAF-IME Business Solutions group supports senior decision makers, including the secretary of the Air Force, the Air Force staff and other Air Force organizations in the National Capital Region.

The Harris team consists of Ascentium, ATS Corp., Capability Plus Solutions Inc. and IndigoIT.

This task order was awarded under the five-year, $9 billion Network-Centric Solutions contract.
