Trio of companies named to TESS contract vehicle
CACI International Inc., York Telecom Corp. and DSCI have been awarded Technical Engineering Support Services contracts whose cumulative ceiling value is $900 million.
CACI International Inc., York Telecom Corp. and DSCI have been awarded Technical Engineering Support Services (TESS) contracts whose cumulative ceiling value is $900 million.
TESS is a follow-on to the Engineering, Technical, and Operations Support Services (ETOSS) contract, which CACI has held since 2006, company officials said.
Under a new indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity task order through the award, CACI will continue supporting the Army’s Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD).
CACI will provide scientific and engineering support to assist I2WD in modernizing Army intelligence and information warfare capabilities and providing mission-critical support to warfighters worldwide.
CACI's work with I2WD will include researching, prototyping, and developing systems to improve intelligence collection through using networked sensors. The company also will support electronic combat capabilities to counter conventional and cyber weapons, as well as information warfare systems capable of mounting both offensive and defensive operations.
The award continues CACI’s support for CERDEC I2WD and increases the company’s business in command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs, the officials said.
The award also continues more than 21 years of CACI support for I2WD under ETOSS and its predecessor programs, they added.
York Telecom, an Eatontown, N.J., provider of visual communications services and solutions, was named a vendor under DSCI on the TESS contract.
DSCI, an employee-owned small business also based in Eatontown, is fulfilling the CERDEC requirement for operational, program management, technical, engineering, integration, prototype development and fabrication support services and products necessary for the I2WD.
The DSCI TESS team is providing research, development and engineering services. York Telecom’s support services include technical engineering, program management, fabrication, operations and information system development.
The five-year TESS contract runs through May 2014.
