Army seeks small-business aid for learning system

The Army’s Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center at Fort Eustis, Va., plans to issue a contract opportunity for small businesses to support the Program Manager Distributed Learning System.

In a sources-sought notice posted today, Army officials said they need small-business assistance with customer outreach communications, office information technology systems and technical document preparation. The Army also needs security management and information assurance and accreditation for the learning system.

Furthermore, the Army is seeking sustainment support, including hardware/software life cycle management, maintenance and technical oversight of the Digital Training Facilities. The contractor will also support Deployed Digital Training centers, Army e-Learning System and Army Learning Management System.

Submissions are due by May 22.
