ManTech closes EWA buy

ManTech International Corp. has completed its acquisition of EWA Services Inc., a unit of Electronic Warfare Associates Inc.

EWA Services, of Herndon, Va., provides information technology, threat analysis, and test and evaluation applications. Its customers include the Defense Department's Joint Interoperability Test Command.

ManTech said it expects the acquisition to generate $20 million in revenue in 2009. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition will increase ManTech's presence at Fort Huachuca in Arizona and Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, ManTech officials said.

ManTech, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 36 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
