Rising Star: Carey Bandler

World Wide Technology Inc.
As the lead business development representative for
defense programs at World Wide Technology,
Bandler is responsible for strategic planning, teaming
and capture management. This includes working
with internal and external teams to develop solutions
that meet the needs of Defense Department customers.
He is helping to transform World Wide from
a traditional value-added reseller into a systems integrator.
Bandler also is active with several associations
that support the federal information technology
industry, including the American Small Business
Coalition, the Washington Breakfast Club and the
Young AFCEANs. For the coalition, he organized
small-business industry days with the State
Department and the National Security Agency.
