DIA plans billion dollar contract

The Defense Intelligence Agency is planning a billion-dollar contract for information technology and services, according to a report on the NextGov web site .

The task order contract, to be known as the Solutions for Information Technology Enterprise, will be open to Defense Department intelligence agencies, the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines Corps as well as non-DOD agencies involved in intelligence.

A draft request for proposals was released this week . DIA is expected to award contracts to four large businesses and four small.
