Picture this: Fund-raiser for the troops



Miss America 2007, Lauren Nelson, center left, joins industry sponsors at a fund-raiser March 27 for the Washington chapter of the USO. The event raised more than $500,000 to support military service members and their families in the Washington area. In addition to Nelson, other attendees included John Marselle, chief executive officer of Robbins-Gioia LLC, left; Michael Singer, vice president of federal systems at Avaya Inc.; and Maureen Cragin, vice president of communications at Boeing Co.
