Telogy Networks Inc., Germantown, Md., appointed Joseph Crupi president and chief executive. Crupi has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since February 1996.

Edward Aldridge has assumed the position of president of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics based in Los Angeles. Aldridge is currently president and chief executive of The Aerospace Corp. in El Segundo, Calif.

Yurie Systems Inc., Landover, Md., appointed Harry D'Andrea chief financial officer. D'Andrea previously was the CFO of American Communications Services Inc. in Annapolis Junction, Md.

McLean, Va.-based Deltek Systems Inc. appointed Mary Moore vice president of marketing and John Kidd vice president of enterprise systems.

Delegate Kenneth Plum was elected chairman of the Virginia General Assembly's Joint Commission on Technology and Science.

Michael Daniels, sector vice president of Science Applications International Corp., was named chairman of the Northern Virginia Technology Council based in Herndon, Va.

Jim White was named vice president and general manager of the federal government region of Digital Equipment Corp. in Greenbelt, Md. White has been with the company for 17 years.

Arlington, Va.-based Anser hired Richard Kline as vice president of international activities and director of the Center for International Aerospace Corp. Kline was formerly the manager of institutions in the Office of Chief Engineer for NASA.

Pat Salmonese was named senior vice president and head of the information technology services unit of BDM International Inc. in McLean, Va.
