Next WT industry day focuses on emerging tech opportunities

Our next industry day shines a spotlight on emerging technology needs across the government with speakers from DARPA, IARPA, Office of Naval Research and NIST. Register today.

We’ve just put the wraps on our Health and Human Services Industry Day, and coming up rapidly is our next industry day on emerging technologies.

We have a lineup that includes speakers from DARPA, IARPA, the Office of Naval Research and NIST.

Keith Marzullo, director of the Federal Networking and Information Technology Research and Development National Coordination Office, will kick us off with a look at federal R&D initiatives and the road ahead.

From there, Catherine Cotell, director of the office of incisive analysis at the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, will speak on meeting the needs of the intell community.

Thomas Killon, director of technology from the Office of Naval Research will give us insights on the R&D needs that can support the fleet.

Susan Nichols, program manager from DARPA’s small business programs office, will describe the mix of opportunities coming out of her agency.

And we’ll wrap the morning up with Gavin O’Brien from NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, who’ll discuss cybersecurity gaps.

The goal of the day is to give you insights on your customers' emerging technology needs and the kind of support you can provide them.

We’ll also have plenty of networking opportunities so you can meet with colleagues and potential partners.

The industry day is slated for Sept. 15 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Va. Breakfast and networking starts at 7:30 with the program beginning at 8:30. Click here for registration information.

Stop and say Hi. I’ll be there early.
