Fast 50 nominations now open

We've opened the nomination period for the 2014 Fast 50 list where we rank the fastest growing small businesses in the government market. Applications are due June 23.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2014 Fast 50. The deadline for submitting applications is June 23.

Our annual list ranks the 50 fastest growing small-business contractors in the government market.

Any small business in the government market can nominate itself. To be considered, companies need to submit five years of government contracting revenue data, which will be used to calculate their compound annual growth rate. Companies are ranked by their growth rate, not by their overall revenue.

Click here for our online nomination form.

For the 2014 rankings, the starting year is 2009, the ending year is 2013. The revenue figures submitted will be published as part of our Fast 50 package. For an example, see the 2013 Fast 50.

To be eligible, companies need to be considered a small business according to one of the various government criteria for being a small business. Companies in the 8(a) program, woman-owned, HUBzone or service-disabled, veteran-owned also are eligible. If you are unsure if you are a small business, visit the Small Business Administration webpage.

Revenue figures and other information submitted as part of the nomination process will be published on WashingtonTechnology.com as part of our Fast 50 coverage.

Our coverage will include profiles of some of the top companies, analysis of the trends the Fast 50 represent and a webinar where we will explore keys to success of the Fast 50 as well as a discussion of the most pressing issues facing small businesses in today’s market.

Please use the online nomination form. The deadline is June 23. On the nomination form, the field labeled “Revenue from last year” is for 2013, Revenue from two years ago is for 2012, and so on, back to Revenue from 5 years ago, which is for 2009.
