Is the $6.9B NetCents 2 merry-go-round about to start again?

Word from at least one contractor is that awards for Air Force's NetCents 2 Products contract is imminent and it has me wondering if we are in for another round of protests.
The $6.9 billion contract was originally awarded a year ago to nine companies, but was so vehemently protested by 11 other companies that the Air Force backed off to reconsider its decision and its process for awarding the contract.
Things have been pretty silent since July, but here is a rundown of some of my favorite blogs and stories on the topic:

Does NetCents 2 still make sense?
As you can tell just from the headlines, the potential for more protests and controversy is high. So whether the contract is awarded today (Friday) or Monday, this probably is not the end of the story.
