Introducing the new and improved Washington Technology website

Welcome to the new Washington Technology website. We think you’ll find it cleaner, more readable and easier to navigate.

We’ve streamlined the site, and our new logo and navigation buttons in the upper left hand corner capture the essence of Washington Technology’s mission, which, as the tagline says, is to be the authority for government contractors and partners.

From our analysis of reader habits and comments, we know you want news and analysis on contracts, mergers and acquisitions, people, and companies. You also want insightful opinions from this blog, and from some of the leading voices in the market. We have a strong stable of regular columnists and we are very welcoming to new opinion-makers as well.

And, of course, you want our rankings – the Top 100, the Fast 50, Top 25 8(a)s, and Top M&As.

Everything you value about Washington Technology is there in that corner. And we are going to deliver that information to you every day via the website and our daily newsletter. If you don’t already subscribe, I encourage you to sign up.

Our new design is more dynamic, and will allow us to highlight content you don’t want to miss by using the Trending area on the right side of the page, and the feature boxes on the top right of the page. These will be the kinds of information that will help you set your agenda for the day and week ahead.

The design is blog-like, and we think you’ll find it more inviting and easier to share and comment on our content. We want to hear from you and have you engage with us.

I want to thank the great team that made this possible: our chief operating officer, Abraham Langer, our digital product manager, Will Winton, our senior web designer, Biswarup Bhattacharjee, and Jeff Langkau, our art director.

It’s a great privilege for me to be the editor of Washington Technology and to work with this team. Our goal is to serve you the kind of news, information and content that you can’t find anywhere else and that helps you do your jobs better.

Limiting to just 10 headlines at a time is not very practical. Hopefully the rest of the online media world doesn't take this approach. It's very inconsiderate of your customers' time.
