Raytheon adds Honeywell vet Brown to board

Raytheon adds former Honeywell International executive and almost 34-year business veteran Adriane Brown to the contractor's board.

Raytheon said Tuesday that former Honeywell International executive and almost 34-year business veteran Adriane Brown has been elected to the defense contractor’s board of directors, effective immediately.

Brown was more recently president and chief operating officer at patent licensing company Intellectual Ventures. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at Honeywell in roles such as president and CEO of transportation systems, plus senior vice president of energy strategy.

"(Brown) has broad international experience across a variety of industries and we welcome her insights as we continue to position Raytheon as a global defense and cybersecurity leader,” Raytheon CEO Tom Kennedy said in a statement.

Prior to Honeywell, she held a 20-year career at specialty glass and ceramic material maker Corning that culminated in the role of vice president and general manager of its environmental products division.

She currently is on the board of directors at eBay and Allergan.
