Army starts development of audit agency contract

The Army Audit Agency is developing a contract for IT services to cover a wide range of needs such as system upgrades and cybersecurity.
The Army Audit Agency is developing a contract for IT services to cover a wide range of needs including system upgrades and cybersecurity.
In a new request for information, the Army is looking for information on how contractors can support its efforts to manage and sustain its IT infrastructure and how it connects to other Army network enterprise centers and joint service providers.
The contract will be known as USAA IT Services and the Army expects it to be a competitive procurement. It also will be a firm-fixed price contract.
Among the services the Army will be buying are:
• Network engineering
• Database administration
• Systems administration
• System integration
• Software deployment
• Technical/customer support
• Configuration management
• Information security
• Systems tuning
• Client support
• Project management
The RFI also describes several key personnel that they expect the contract to supply including program manager, network engineering and software systems engineer.
Work will be take place at Fort Belvoir, Va.
Responses to the RFI are due Sept. 13.
