Lockheed Martin has won a $13.2 million contract to provide six Integrated Submarine Imaging Systems units to the Navy.

Lockheed Martin has won a $13.2 million contract to provide six Integrated Submarine Imaging Systems units to the Navy.

The Integrated Submarine Imaging System provides mission critical, all-weather, visual, and electronic search, digital image management, indication, warning, and platform architecture interface capabilities for a number of classes of submarines, the, Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., Northhampton, Mass., Marion, Mass., and Chantilly, Va., and is expected to be completed in October 2018.
