L-3 Communications wins $500M satellite comms contract

L-3 Communications Corp. has won a $500 million contract to support the Army’s satellite communications capabilities.

L-3 Communications Corp. has won a $500 million contract to support the Army’s satellite communications capabilities.

Under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, L-3 Communications will provide the Army with common data link and satellite communications support services, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work is expected to wrap up in October 2021.

The contract was contracted out by the Army Contracting Command in Aberdeen, Md.
