Cubic subsidiary wins $1.4M contract to support DISA video dissemination system

TeraLogics LLC, a Cubic Corp. subsidiary, has won a $1.4 million contract to expand the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Unified Video Dissemination System (UVDS).

TeraLogics LLC, a Cubic Corp. subsidiary, has won a $1.4 million contract to expand the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Unified Video Dissemination System (UVDS).

The UVDS is a next-generation full motion video processing, exploitation and dissemination system that provides persistent, focused, real-time, operational information flow to tactical and enterprise end users, the company said in a release.

Under the contract, the company will expand the contract into the European theater to meet U.S. Africa Command’s Airborne, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance requirements.

TeraLogics will also support the engineering and implementation of an enterprise-wide transcoding service for the full motion video disseminated through the system architecture.

TeraLogics was acquired by Cubic Corp. in December 2015.
