SAIC to provide full life cycle IT under $156M Alliant task order

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $156 million task order to provide full life cycle information technology services to the U.S. Agriculture Department Risk Management Agency.

Science Applications International Corp. has won a $156 million task order to provide full life cycle information technology services to the U.S. Agriculture Department Risk Management Agency.

The task order was awarded under the General Services Administration’s Alliant contract.

The RMA operates and manages the Federal Crop Insurance Corp., which provides crop insurance to American farmers and ranchers. 

Under the contract, SAIC will provide IT services to support development and delivery of new crop insurance products, sustain employee productivity, develop and maintain new IT systems and support RMA’s underlying IT infrastructure, the company said.
