Leidos has won a $23.7 single award contract to provide scientific and management support for USAID’s Malaria Vaccine Development Program.

Leidos has won a $23.7 single award contract to provide scientific and management support for USAID’s Malaria Vaccine Development Program.

USAID’s Malaria Vaccine Development Program aims to develop an efficient, cost-effective malaria vaccine.

Under the contract, Leidos will implement research and development projects to support the program’s mission. Leidos will also provide vaccine concept development and actualization and vaccine evaluations in the preclinical, clinical and field stages of development, the company said in a release.

Leidos is ranked No. 16 on the 2015 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
