Northrop Grumman has named Kay Rand vice president of operations for the company’s Electronic Systems sector.

Northrop Grumman has named Kay Rand vice president of operations for the company’s Electronic Systems sector.

In her new role, Rand will lead a new organization that integrates key sector-wide infrastructure elements with the focus on increasing the strength and synergy of the operational support provided to business, the company said in a release.

Rand was most recently vice president, Electronic Systems mission assurance. She joined the company in 1982.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from James Madison University, a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Dayton and a master’s in technical management from Johns Hopkins University.
