Insight Public Sector has won a potential $543.7 million blanket purchase agreement to provide the renewal of existing software assurance and new Microsoft software licenses.

The base value of this blanket purchase agreement is $156.1 million but options can bring it higher.

The enterprise-wide BPA was awarded under the the Navy Enterprise Software Licensing Initiative, which establishes and manages enterprise commercial off-the-shelf IT agreements with the goal of lowering the total cost of ownership across defense, Coast Guard and intelligence communities, according to the Navy’s website.

This particular agreement is for Navy and includes the Marine Corps, the Defense Department said in a release.

The ordering period will last until May 31, 2018, with options.

Five companies sent quotes to the Navy, but Insight Public Sector’s was the only one to be selected.
