HP Enterprise Services wins $55.8M contract to support Anaheim IT infrastructure

HP Enterprise Services has won a $55.8 million contract to continue managing the information technology environment for Anaheim, Calif.

HP Enterprise Services has won a $55.8 million contract to continue managing the information technology environment for Anaheim, Calif.

Under the contract, HP will continue supporting the city’s IT infrastructure and will also provide a disaster recovery solution that will help business continuity in the event of a catastrophic event, the company said in a relase.

HP Enterprise Services will also enhance the city’s infrastructure so that there is accelerated hosting service virtualization, lower power consumption, higher security, and improved communications. To improve the communications, HP will expand Anaheim’s current videoconferencing solution which will allow for increased public access to the city government.

HP has worked with Anaheim since 2003.
