Northrop Grumman nabs $300M contract for Air Force weather services

Northrop Grumman has won a $300 million contract to help support the Air Force’s enterprise information systems used to produce weather reports across the globe.

Northrop Grumman has won a $300 million contract to help support the Air Force’s enterprise information systems.

These systems produce and disseminate real-time weather services and products across the globe, according to the Defense Department.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide the Air Force with systems engineering, management and sustainment services, as well as program management.

Work will be performed at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., and is expected to be completed July 31, 2019.
