CACI wins second extension of Sealift Command contract

CACI International has won its second extension of a contract with the Navy Military Sealift Command to support its software engineering efforts.

CACI International has captured a second extension of its contract with the Navy Military Sealift Command.

The latest extension adds $9.4 million to the value of the contract. Last year, the company a similar extension also worth $9.4 million.

The original value of the Systems Development Support Services contract won in 2009 was $70 million.

CACI is supporting to the Military Sealift Command’s IT Automated Information System, according to the original FBO.gov announcement.

Services include software engineering support, data replication support, development and maintenance support the command’s information systems portal, engineering shipboard and shoreside systems, and logistics systems.

The new extension pushes CACI’s work under the contract out to July 2015.
