BAE Systems wins $10.7M contract to support naval aircraft identification

BAE Systems has won a $10.7 million contract with the Navy to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Identification Systems Division.

BAE Systems has won a $10.7 million contract with the Navy to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Identification Systems Division.

Under the contract, BAE will provide design, development, integration, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance and logistics support of the cooperative identification, non-cooperative target recognition, air traffic control equipment, systems and subsystems, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed by April 2015.
