Lockheed wins $69M subcontract to provide C4ISR system

Lockheed Martin has won a $69 million subcontract from Huntington Ingalls Industries to support the U.S. Coast Guard’s efforts to enforce maritime sovereignty and address threats at sea.

Under the contract, Lockheed Martin will provide the C4ISR system for the Coast Guard’s seventh National Security Cutter.

The company’s C4ISR system will offer real-time situational awareness, commonality and interoperability, enabling a greater collection and sharing of maritime data, Lockheed said in a release.
