Leidos wins $12M contract to support VA pharmacy network

Leidos has won a $12 million contract to provide systems integration support and services to pharmacy network for the Veterans Affairs Department.

Leidos has won a $12 million contract to provide systems integration support and services to the pharmacy network of the Veterans Affairs Department.

The contract supports the department’s Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy.

The pharmacy is a network of seven automated production facilities that employ a mixture of robotic devices, conveyer systems and human factors to accurately fill and ship around 117 million prescriptions per year for health care beneficiaries, Leidos said in a release.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide systems integration support and software development, modification, documentation, and support services for the seven facilities including maintenance enhancement and integration support, and development and execution, the company said.
