Lockheed-Northrop venture lands $25M radar, UAV contract modification

Longbow LLC, a joint venture of Lockheed Martina and Northrop Grumman, has won a $25 million modification to a radar and UAV data link contract from the Army.

Longbow LLC has won a $25 million modification to a radar and UAV data link contract.

The Orlando, Fla.-based company is tasked with the production of seventeen radar electronics units and unmanned aerial system tactical common data link assemblies, as well as software upgrades and production testing hardware.

Funds in the amount of $25.2 million were obligated at the time of the award, and work is slated to be finished by July 31, 2015.

Longbow is a joint venture of Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
