Northrop Grumman grabs $25M AKO modification

Northrop Grumman Information Systems has won a $25 million contract modification, adding a year to the company’s operations and maintenance support of Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Enterprise Services.

Northrop Grumman Information Systems has won a $25 million contract modification, adding a year to the company’s operations and maintenance support of Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Enterprise Services.

AKO is a web-based linking contractors and military personnel, provides the Army with a single entry point for access to the Internet and facilitates file-sharing and other communication.

Funds in the amount of $10,473,522 were obligated at the time of the award, and work is expected to be completed in April 2015.
