Lone Star Aerospace nabs $8.7M contract to support NAVAIR

Lone Star Aerospace has won an $8.7 million contract to provide predictive business and technical decision analysis services to the Naval Air Systems Command and the Naval Aviation Enterprise.

Lone Star Aerospace has won an $8.7 million contract to provide predictive business and technical decision analysis services to the Naval Air Systems Command and the Naval Aviation Enterprise.

Under the contract, Lone Star will provide support of existing, in production data collection and data collection systems, as well as analysis, modeling and simulation including data collection and validation, requirement derivation and analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, the Defense Department said.

The company will also provide modeling personnel and processes, decision and other modeling, business case and benefit/cost modeling, total ownership cost modeling, should cost/will cost, analysis of alternative modeling, performance modeling; scenario based simulations, “what if” simulations, gaming simulations, performance simulations, simulation delivery and reports, briefings and studies.

Work will be completed in Addison, Texas, Patuxent River, Md., China Lake, Calif., and Point Mugu, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 2015.
