The Naval Special Warfare Command released a sources sought notice for geospatial intelligence software, as it gauges what industry could provide via commercial off-the-shelf products.

NSWC is seeking geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) desktop, server-based and portal software products. NSWC also wants software licenses, upgrades, and maintenance services, with capabilities that enable analysts to process raw data and produce tailored GEOINT products through mapping and spatial analysis of geographic information.

NSWC wants data server services, including an application that publishes maps via a web browser, computationally intensive functions that avoids slow software processes, the use of Model Builder and Python scripting, and storage on spatially enabled databases.

NSWC released the notice March 21. The deadline for responses is April 4.
