Leidos wins $16M contract for IT support of secure facility

Leidos has won a $16 million contract with Boston Properties and Konterra Realty to provide information technology, security and facilities support for a multi-tenant secure facility.

Leidos has won a $16 million contract with Boston Properties and Konterra Realty to provide information technology, security and facilities support for a multi-tenant secure facility that houses government agencies.

Boston Properties is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust. Konterra Realty develops, builds, manages and leases exceptional commercial properties in the Washington, D.C. region, Leidos said in a  release. The two formed a joint-venture to mange the propoerty.

Leidos didn't disclose the customers at the Annapolis Junction, Md., facility but the company sees it as an important win.

"This is a key win that strategically positions Leidos for future classified IT, security and facility support contracts in the national security sector," said Sam Gordy, Leidos group president, in a company statement.
