Fulcrum IT Services has acquired Forgentum Inc. in a move that expands Fulcrum’s growth in the military health market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This marks the third acquisition that the company has made since the company's management and private equity investors Boyne Capital Partners and Grindstone Partners took over the company in 2010.

Forgentum provides application development, integrated systems engineering, managed services and training related to clinical technology solutions for the Defense Department health care community, Fulcrum said in a release.

The acquisition expands Fulcrum’s support of the Defense Department’s Military Health System Healthcare Artifact and Image Management Solution, as well as the Defense Health Clinical System.

It also brings to Fulcrum a spot on the NIH’s $20 billion CIO-SP3 contract.
