Sapient Government Services has acquired OnPoint Consulting, strengthening Sapient’s presence in the government space and further extending its innovation capabilities with government, nonprofits and non-governmental organizations.

Arlington, Va.-based OnPoint Consulting was founded in 1994 and works to develop, modernize, secure and operate the technology solutions for government agencies, and has a number of federal clients including the Energy, State, Transportation, Treasury, Defense, Agriculture Departments.

The deal brings to Sapient include infrastructure, cybersecurity, workforce productivity, micro-application development and managed security operations.
