Exelis nabs $76M contract to provide Poland with radars

Exelis has won a $76 million contract to provide the Polish Air Force, Navy and Land Forces with mobile ground control approach capabilities through the provision of radars.

Exelis has won a $76 million contract to provide the Polish Air Force, Navy and Land Forces with mobile ground control approach capabilities through the provision of radars.

Exelis will provide the country with its Exelis GCA-2020 radar, which has high-performance air navigation services capabilities required to meet demanding International Civil Aviation Organization and NATO flight safety standards.

This new GCA contract expands Poland’s existing global compatibility, providing standardization across all branches of Poland’s armed forces and its NATO allies, Exelis said in a release.
